Preparing and pursuing applications for Turkish citizenship by investment or other lawful routes, and for residence permits.
Turkish citizenship can be acquired exceptionally through investment when the conditions set out in law are met. The most commonly used route is real estate investment; fixed capital investment, bank deposits, government debt instruments and job-creation options are also available.
The critical point isn't just making the investment — it's documenting it exactly as the regulations require. If a single step is skipped — the date of the appraisal report, payment made through a bank in the correct order, or the three-year non-sale annotation on the title deed — the application is rejected.
SBP Legal carries out an eligibility review before the investment, then manages the conformity certificate, residence permit and citizenship application together with family members.
Note: investment thresholds and procedural rules are updated through regulatory changes. We confirm the current amount and conditions before any application.

Frequently asked questions
What conditions apply to citizenship through real estate?
The property must be above the statutory minimum value, payment must be made through a bank before the title transfer, a current appraisal report from an authorized institution must exist, and a three-year non-sale annotation must be placed on the title deed. Additional restrictions can apply to property previously acquired from another foreigner and used for the same purpose. Because the minimum amount is updated by regulation, it should be confirmed before applying.
How long does the process take?
Once the conformity certificate and residence permit stages are complete, the citizenship application typically takes a few months to conclude. Total time depends on how complete the file is and the workload of the relevant authorities; missing documents are the most common cause of delay.
Does my family get citizenship too?
Yes. The applicant's spouse and children under 18 can also benefit from the application. A separate document set and translation process is handled for each family member.
Do I have to live in Turkey to get citizenship?
Exceptional citizenship by investment doesn't require the standard five-year residence condition. A residence permit must be obtained during the process, but there's no requirement of continuous physical residence.
